Submerged: A Custom Map for Among Us that Adds a New Level of Challenge and Fun
As we said in this map the main feature is that it will place all players in a submerged station where the classic fight between crew members and imposters will take place. The trailer originally saw the light at the end of June 2021, posted by 5up, and due to its great reception the members of Polus GG decided later to include it directly in their MODs package. Currently, the only way to play this wonderful map is directly downloading Polus GG.
As is logical, many people have recently asked about the Android adaptation of this complete mod pack. Specifically, from the official website of Polus GG we find the link to download it directly from Steam. As the only requirement we will need to have downloaded the original game.

The new Submerged map has two floors for players to explore. It has multiple vents and it is not boring even for crew members anymore. The submerged map is not as small as the air or space map. Therefore the chance of you getting bored of it is very thin.
Since this map is yet to be officially launched in the game, you will have to download the Submerged map by contacting the creator (5Up) through his social media handles. What all you need to do is drop an email to 5UP or contact him through social media to receive the link for this new map.
Studies conducted so far by these authors on taxonomic diversity and the population size of potentially pathogenic fungi in urban lakes concerned open areas and bathing sites, where water users may come into contact [1,2,3,4]. The very presence of microfungi, as well as their prevalence, depends on many environmental factors, such as: daily and seasonal changes of lighting and temperature and fluctuations of oxygen concentration resulting from accumulation of organic matter, usually of anthropogenic origin. These factors accelerate the decomposition of submerged parts of plants in the littoral zone, which creates a perfect environment for growth of microorganisms, including fungi. These could be auto- or allochthonous species, which enter shore waters not only with surface contamination, but also with household wastewater or industrial discharge [5]. This results in the littoral zone burden of nutrients and, in consequence, it accelerates water eutrophication [3]. Soil can also be an important source of microfungi; from it, they enter the water with surface or underground effluents.
Rush vegetation plays an important role in the process of inhibiting nutrient inflow, depending on the effectiveness of surface effluents from the drainage basin. It is a natural ecotonic zone [26], with buffer properties against inflowing nutrients. Recreational use of lakes contributes to fragmentation and, in consequence, to the lack of continuity of the zone. This results in easier nutrient inflow to a water body and in water pollution [27]. The most common plants in this zone include Phragmites communis, Ceratophyllum demersum and Polygonum amphibium. Aquatic vegetation in the lacustrine littoral zone is often inhabited by different microorganisms, including microfungi [12, 28]. Yeast present in the phyllosphere often compete with phytopathogens for nutrients, and they also inhibit their growth and development by taking in organic matter from the leaf surface. This is of special importance when the fungi isolated from the phyllosphere can pose a hazard to human health and when the submerged vegetation zone is in close vicinity to the places of recreation [1,2,3]. About 200 of the many yeast species occurring in the aquatic environment are pathogens [23, 25].
Shallow lakes can provide important habitat for wildlife because of their ability to maintain thick stands of emergent and submerged vegetation, but can also be highly susceptible to eutrophication (Scheffer 2004). Shallow lakes dominated by macrophytes, also known as submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV), generally provide relatively clear water, better food sources for waterfowl, and healthier populations of recreational fish than phytoplankton-dominated lakes (Jeppesen et al. 1997; Sponberg and Lodge 2005; Blindow et al. 2006). An undesirable shift to turbid water and cyanobacteria dominance can occur if the lake becomes eutrophic from excess nitrogen, phosphorus, and sediment (Scheffer 2004; Havens and Gawlick 2005). Understanding the mechanisms that determine when macrophyte-dominated lakes become phytoplankton-dominated is a critical research and management challenge (Scheffer et al. 2001; Jeppesen et al. 2003), with the concomitant challenge of macrophyte restoration in phytoplankton-dominated systems (Moss 1990; Gulati et al. 2008).
Estimated proportion of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) coverage in Lake Mattamuskeet, North Carolina, from 1989 to 2015, estimated with generalized additive models. Points indicate location of 1-m2 survey plots and are shaded to indicate the recorded proportion of SAV coverage.
Estimated area in thousands of hectares (ha) of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) in four coverage categories (Orth et al. 2015) in the west and east basins of Lake Mattamuskeet, North Carolina, from 1989 to 2015. Error bars indicate the 90% confidence interval based on 1,000 posterior simulations from the underlying generalized additive models.
We are grateful for reviews and suggestions on earlier drafts from the Journal reviewers and the Associate Editor. We thank former Refuge staff and North Carolina Division of Water Resources for their assistance in collecting and analyzing submerged aquatic vegetation and water quality data.
We can also call the submerged map a custom map and in this map, you also get to see the first floor and the second floor. If we say clearly, then you have never seen this type of map before in the Among Us game.
The task has been made very awesome in the submerged map, due to which even if you play as a crew member, your chances of getting bored are very less. There is no doubt that 5up has put a lot of effort into creating and setting up the task. The normal map has a cover on the vent, but in this map there are many vents which are not covered and if the imposter uses such vents then they can be easily visible to the crew members.

In Patagonia there is considerable evidence, provided by studies on moraine systems, landforms and stratigraphic records, that glaciers and icefields have expanded and contracted in the past in response to variations in climate systems1,2,3. In this region, the icefields are nourished by mid-latitude weather systems characterized by abundant precipitation, causing high ablation rates, steep mass-balance gradients and high ice velocities3. This is because southern Patagonia lies at the northern edge of the Southern Westerly Winds, an important component of the global atmospheric system that greatly controls the passage of frontal systems, and therefore precipitation, in the mid-latitudes4. In addition, Patagonian glaciers react rapidly to even small changes in climate given the temperate setting: this has led Patagonia to contain some of the fastest waning ice masses in the Southern Hemisphere at present5. In fact, among global glacier mass changes, the Patagonian icefields reveal the most negative mass changes6,7 and are the largest contributors to sea-level rise among the South America glaciers, largely driven by dynamic adjustments of the tidewater and lake calving glaciers8. The freshwater outlet glaciers have a distinctive relationship with climate change, mostly due to their unique sensitivity to topography, and the strong correlation between calving rates and water depth at the glacier terminus9. There is evidence that calving glaciers have not been responding directly to climate this century, their behavior being more closely controlled by trough geometry and topography than by climate10. This is because a strong influence of topography and water depth is expected in influencing ice marginal positions and retreat dynamics11. For the case of Perito Moreno, it has been demonstrated that seasonal ice-front variations would be primary due to frontal ablation (subaqueous melting), which is correlated with seasonal lake water temperature variations12. The thermal notch that forms at the base of the glacier front is considered the trigger mechanism of calving, abundantly exceeding the magnitude of the ice speed.
